Clinton Museuum
The red brick schoolhouse that currently houses the Clinton Museum was constructed in 1892 from bricks manufactured at a local plant. The building was used as a courthouse from 1919 until the late 1940′s when it was put to use as a schoolhouse again. In 1956 it was taken over by the South Cariboo Historical Museum Society and since then has acqired a treasury of historical papers,photos, and antiques dating back to the Gold Rush Days.
