Cottonwood House is one of the last remaining roadhouses in BC. A visit to this historic site will allow you to experience the rich history of the Cariboo region first hand. Built in the 1860’s meals, accommodation, and provisions were offered to travellers on their journey along the Cariboo Wagon Road to Barkerville and Quesnel. Today, this wheelchair accessible site is a tourist destination offering tours, accommodation, a restaurant, gift shop, and more.
