Gold Rush Trail Captain George Vancouver National Historic Person

Unique steel monument commissioned by Parks Canada to accompany the plaque commemorating Capt. George Vancouver.  It represents a doorway between the past and present and between East and West, called “Northwest Passage” by artist Alan Chung Hung, who also made the SS Beaver monument at Fort Langley National Historic Site of Canada.
