Penticton Museum & Archives
Experience the tumultuous lives of the gold seekers and railway men and envision the sternwheelers that ran up and down the waterways of the Okanagan. Explore fine displays of pioneer life, natural history, military artifacts and First Nations collections. The Penticton Museum holds over 8,000 artifacts, and the collection represents the life of the regions’ pioneers and First Nations people, as well as presenting natural, industrial and military history. The museum gift shop offers some great souvenirs and many books related to local history, natural history and the Kettle Valley Railway.
